 After working for several well respected boatbuilding companies, the owners of Sabre Narrowboats, Jim Meichan and Paul Taylor, decided to come together to form Sabre. Established in 1997, they have more than thirty years combined experience in boatbuilding between them and over one hundred and fifty completed boats. Sabre Narrowboats now completes five boats per year.
